The V-972 Hover Ship is a small starship designed as a personal vehicle. The external hover pads show that this ship is from the early era of space travel, before interal anti-gravity generators. Modified to keep up with the more advanced ships that came after it, the V-972 is one of the fastest personal ships available.

V-972 Hover-Ship

This is a PhotoShop enhanced picture of the ship with its hover pads turned on.
Front view of the hover-ship. It's fairly self explanitory.
From the right of the ship, you can see the bases of the hover panels. The top gun turret and right thruster tube are also visible.
The left is basicly identicle to the right, but facing the other way.
The back of the V-972 probably took the longest to build. The three thruster tubes are protected above and below by the two circular plates.
This shot of the top shows the shape of the ship as well as the entrance hatch. The circular thing towards the front is a spare hover pad.
From below you can see the two, individually moving guns and the second spare hover pad. The thruster tubes are also visible through the transparent plating.
This is a shot of the inside. You can see the two chairs, the storage containers, and the bed folded down on the wall.
Another view of the inside. This time, the bed is folded out.
Construction
The first part of the ship that was built was the rear hover pads. At this point, I didn't know what the ship's design would look like.
Here's a close up of how the hover pads were connected to the ship's frame.
Next, I built the rest of the ship's framework. In this picture, I've just started to build the front of the ship.
The rear of the ship was built next. Here, the top pannel isn't attached yet and you can see the two side thruster tubes.
This is the small corner of my room that I sat in for five hours while building the ship. The edge of my filming studio can be seen to the right.
